I'm not saying they need a great LT. Houston just traded away a Pro Bowl caliber LT to Seattle but the price is probably too much for Philly given the fact that they don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick in next year's draft.

I'm just talking about a serviceable OT. Vattai has looked like garbage to me from his extended playing time last year during Lane Johnson's suspension and last week against San Fran. Like BisonFan02 said Lane Johnson can move to LT if they find a good RT that a team is willing to part with.

Reports from Miami are that Ajai is a bit of a head case as well, which is why they could get him for a 4th. Gase, the Miami HC just wanted him gone.

He did in college at Oklahoma, I don't believe he ever has in the NFL since Jason Peters has been a Philly mainstay since Johnson was drafted in 2013. He's getting paid like a LT though and it hasn't really been a secret that he's the "LT in waiting" if/when Peters decides to hang it up.

Must just be a Boise St RB thing since that's both Ajayi and Blount's alma mater.

Fun fact: Ajayi went to high school in Frisco, TX.

Blount went to Oregon. But he infamously punched a Boise St player.
