Add long as his receivers do him a favor and don't lead the league in drops I think he'll have a great year.

I could see Dak really falling back to earth this year. From what I saw from him last year I wasn't overly impressed. He was handed a very very good situation with Zeke and that o line. Dak was very cautious with the ball last year, didn't seem to anticipate breaks and throwing receivers open. If that line takes any steps back and he doesn't have as much time he won't have success IMO. As far as Zeke goes, that dude seems to be in the news a lot, and if he doesn't get it together quick off the field...he might not be on the field.

Seeing Carson transition from NDSU to the NFL he seemed to take a lot more chances, which he will have to. At NDSU the talent level around him was so much higher than the teams they play ~75% of the time that he could be patient and win games. He doesn't have the luxury of that talent gap in the NFL, obviously.

It should be an exciting year for him, hopefully.

The Eagles are in great shape here with Carson Wentz leading the way. Wentz is the team leader, the face of the franchise, and he's already extremely comfortable in the role. On the field, Wentz is quickly developing chemistry with a new-look receiver corps. Good progress is being made.

One thing is certain, there will be a lot more pressure this year. Which I would imagine he'll handle just fine as always.

It's been pretty interesting to see the Eagles directly address their weaknesses. And also makes being a Vikings fan that much more frustrating.

Some reports have suggested Wentz has been struggling with accuracy in OTAs and Mini-camp, but today Wednesday June 14th ....

Heads up, Bison fans. Wentz and WR are headed to Fargo.

"Perhaps the most notable Eagles offseason plan hasn't been finalized yet. Quarterback Carson Wentz said this week he's going to invite the team's skill position players to Fargo, North Dakota, where he played college football, for a throwing session and bonding time"

Some fun info here..... but my team is still the Viks... since they beat the Bears with Norm Van Brocklin coaching - my freshman year at NDSU.... notwithstanding.... read on:

"Why you should root for the Philadelphia Eagles"

Also for further thought .... from 38 Observations:

"Another sharp outing from Carson Wentz. Wentz struggled in red zone drills earlier this spring but he looked real accurate today. One of his best passes was a dart to a leaping Nelson Agholor in tight coverage. Wentz also really caught my attention on one play where we caught a high snap above his head with one hand and then immediately rifled it to Zach Ertz for a touchdown. The kid is far from perfect but he can do some special things. "
