I'm not an ifficial but I read somewhere had he blocked him while he was going back towards the line of scrimmage that it would of been an illegal block. Any truth to that?

No need for the block. CW was headed out of bounds and no need to risk injury to anyone.

Nope, not illegal - maybe if he blocked him below the waist, it would have been. Don't have to blow the guy up, of course.

Does he know that Carson could not have got more yards with his block there? Maybe, maybe not. Ertz doesn't get much after contact on his receptions though. Guy seems soft.
