Fans of Carson around here, and especially Philly fans need to be patient. Could he come out and throw for 300 yards and 3 td's on Sunday or every game throughout the season? Sure, but unlikely. I am certain that he can be a great qb in the NFL, just may not be right away. With that being said, I hope he tears it up his rookie season and wins the MVP!!

That's what I was wondering. If this is the case, they may as well show Philly games all season long on.

Technically, the NFL and the network (FOX/CBS) make the initial assignment of the games each affiliate gets, and then each station can make a request to be switched, which may or may not be granted. The NFL is good, though, about showing games based on one player that a market wants to follow. For instance, Hawaii is seeing most Tennesee games right now because Mariotta is from Hawaii. Oklahoma still gets a lot of Vikings games when they don't conflict with Dallas games because Adrian Peterson went there.

Check out 506sports.com each week if you want to see what games are being shown. They also have a message board that can go deep into broadcast rules and patterns if you want to get a better feel for how that works.

Most Eagles game are at noon on Fox which will conflict with Vikes games. Week 2 on Monday night bs the Bears will be pretty sweet!

Very true. I'm in OK and fortunately I do get to watch a lot of Vikes games at home due to Adrian...including this Sunday's game. I'm torn between staying at home and watching the Vikes with sound or going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Vikes and the Eagles without sound.

I see four weeks that would have a Vikings conflict. Weeks 9, 10, 14, 17. Week 15 is the only Green Bay conflict, Green Bay at Chicago - I don't know if they would take Eagles at Ravens over that or not.
Other than that it seems reasonable for them to show Eagles games.

This is also before any games being flexed around the schedule, so the weeks that conflict could change depending on if they move any of the games.
