No doubt........Philly as a fan base is possibly the worst place for a highly picked QB to go....There was a reason old Veterns Stadium was the only nfl venue to have a jail cell built in, the new stadium had one also...but was removed a year or 2 in after built............
Wish Carson tons of good will, but as a die-hard Cowboy fan, gotta love what Dak Prescott gave them in his 1st NFL game time---preseason or not. Kid showed poise, but he was behind a "somewhat competent" OLine also with a run game.
You're right, tough to hear the criticism when we think so highly of him. Stings!

Guess Jared Goff isn't used to big NFL linebackers either?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Went got hit more in 2 quarters than he did in two years

Late, but didn't see this posted:
Carson Wentz doesn't disappoint in his Philadelphia debut
Wentz was solid and effective in his first NFL action. He commanded the huddle, moved the ball, and showcased some of the reasons why the Eagles traded up six spots in the draft to select him. He wasn’t without error, but overall, it was a positive showing for the rookie passer, more good than bad.
