Wilson signed his after 3 because he only had a 4 year deal. First rounders get 4 plus a team option for the 5th.

Agreed, my whole point is they can re-sign him after year 3. They most likely won't because they have the fifth year option.

Hell, not like Wentz at all, but maybe he'll turn out to be fairly elite and decide to test the free agency market. Elite quarterback in his prime. That would fetch quite the bidding war.

Edit: Tannehill re-signed after year 3 forgoing the fourth year as well as the fifth year option.
