If I should ever make it to a philly game I'll be wearing my Bison gold with pride! I'll bet I'll get a beer or two just for doing so! If I was too wear a Philly number 11 Wentz, I would just look like the any other thousand others!

Why? Because they wasted precious editorial column inches doing nothing but validating the way virtually everyone already feels?
They could have written about Commissioner Piepkorn's stance against the NRA's tactics despite his broad support for their policy goals. They could have talked about the Presidential nominating process drawing to a close. They could have talked about their controversial columnists and/or the linking through to blog posts business decision.

It's just lazy journalism.
Just like how my local TV news producer got a text alert that the lottery jackpot was back over some magic number so they got a 20 second free advertisement this morning because, who doesn't like the lottery, right? and we can just get an intern to update the copy from when we did the same story four months ago.
