Listening to 97.5 the Fanatic on the way to lunch... there was an interview of Howie Roseman explaining why the Eagles went after Carson so hard (short version: in his opinion, there are a lot of franchise QBs about to retire and when that franchise QB music stops, there are going to be 12+ teams looking for a QB chair all at once and a lot of them are going to be SOL.) So I turned to NFL radio, and they were playing the same interview but were 15 seconds behind.

Philadelphia fans are plenty passionate - the radio guy came out and said that anything short of a Super Bowl would be unacceptable given what they gave up (which only makes sense if he thinks the Eagles would've brought home the Lombardi with the picks they gave up and Bradford as their QB.) In that way, they sound a lot like some diehard Bison fans except they have more of a reason to be impatient. Howie put his ass on the line with this deal... like the radio guys said, if it doesn't work out, he's out of a job, but if it does work, they'll build statues of him. To get a sense of how invested these fans are, they knew the name of the Eagles security guy who was escorted Carson through the airport.

BTW, after the 11pm news on Sunday, they had half hour show on the Eagles draft, featuring tons of CW time.

Q Factor
Izzo and Kolpack talked about Carson Wentz "The Brand" or the "Company" on Saturday.

As part of the discussion was the look he presented at the draft, in Philadelphia. It was that of a CEO, Business Leader. Clean Cut, sparkling image.

Which leads to the Q factor I believe they call it and what can a person or brand generate from an advertising perspective.


Initial reviews and commentary I would project Carson through the roof in this regards. Small city guy, moving to a big city. He looked good, talked better. This will play very well.

What does he mean the Bison couldn't beat the Griz? Apparently Mr. 8-8 forgot all about the absolute ass kicking playoff beat down the Griz got in December.

Wow, this guy is a dumb fk, and not a wonder he's a loser. I am soooo glad Carson didn't go there. Not just the ass kicking the Bison gave the Griz in the Playoffs, but also beating them the year before, and back in, what was it, 2003 or 04 abouts, when the Bison downed them as a DII team in Missoula. Montana has only beaten the Bison once in the last 70 years, and that took some extraordinary circumstances to happen. It also took the very last second of the game and the very last down of the game for them to win by 3 points. Also all the games between NDSU and Montana have been played in Missoula except two. It makes me doubly pissed that the NDSU guy didn't blow this clown out of the water. Must not have been as big a fan of the Bison as he claimed.

So, Fisher's a butthurt Griz fan with a distorted view of history. I pray whoever this Bison fan was he gladly reminded him of the absolute shell shocking the Griz took in the Fargodome. The one that made your defensive coordinator gladly bounce out of Missoula to head to Bozeman.

BTW- Silver and Fisher, Brandon was a meh linebacker who played on the last decent Griz team that choked another championship down their leg to Villanova. Also, you should have scouted the wildcats their QB is just as good as Goff.

Yes, my mistake, I knew that and watched both of those games on TV. I remember in one of the games, Joe Cichy hit a Montana ball carrier so hard you could hear the "UFF" on TV.
