Based upon Carson's response when asked what number he would want, I don't think it's a big deal to him. He had #20 in high school and Heagle already had that one at NDSU. He mentioned being #11 in college but I feel that with Carson a jersey number or name on the back makes no difference to him, it's the name on the front of the jersey that matters more. Philly is gonna love this guy.

Hey, Editors at the Forum! How about using an adverb correctly? It should be "Draft Went QUICKLY"

I don't know if this has been posted yet.

Looks like it's going to be a thing... Carson Wentz is going to be known as The Kid in Philly.
When we went to the Herd and Horns last night we were in a back "room" and thought it was odd the GameDay picture was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall.
NFL Network took it down
I like to surround myself with people who share in my inappropriate comments, sarcasm, and random shenanigans
Probably beyond Philly as well (no kid-ding)....
From Thu 4/28 Fargo Forum:
This week, Jerry Messer from south of Richardton, N.D., is another in what is become a long line of Carson Wentz's home state boosters. As the chairman of the National Dairy Council that partners with the NFL on its "Play 60" health program, Messer got to experience the VIP treatment at Wednesday's event with the top prospects for tonight's NFL Draft... "If you watch Carson grow up, you notice there's not a lot that phases him," Jerry Messer said. "It's a huge stage here but I think he's handling it fantastic. The kid exemplifies what North Dakota is all about and that's what's cool about it. The kid will walk away from this big stage here, go back home and hunt some deer. That's just the way the kid is. I don't think the big stage is going to bother him; I think he has the ability to take that step and take it in increments and no matter where he goes, he's going to take a little North Dakota with him. And that's going to be good for us and good for him."
Wonder if The Dairy Guy was hired to try to get "The Kid" entrenched with the press... like when George was pushing for a nickname on Seinfeld...
