To be the man you have to beat the man.

Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
There are 32 teams drafting players who will compete against current NFL players for playing time. Many of the draftee's are products of their team's respective trades. It happens every draft and will happen again in the next draft.
Bradford acts as though he was caught unaware that there was a draft every year and he may have to compete for playing time at his position. He has every advantage over a drafted quarterback. Experience with the playbook and verbiage. Experience with teammates strength and weaknesses. Familiarity with the organization and city. There is no reason he should not be able to hold his starting job against a college qb. Unless that college qb is actually just more talented.
On top of it all, he just received a fat, guaranteed contract and has been assured by coaches and management that he is the starting qb. Sometimes in life, you need to just shut up and do your job. Unfortunately for Bradford, he hasn't figured that out.
Thanks to Bisonville, I'm listening to 97.5 outa Philly. They seem pretty pumped.... calling Carson "The Kid."
The Eagles can eat his signing bonus. He can eat his signing bonus. His next team can eat his signing bonus. Or the most realistic option a little of all three. Bottom line, IMO, the Eagles aren't going to eat the whole bonus right now without getting a very attractive pick. If he's really serious about moving on agree to give back a chunk of the bonus and he's now more movable. We'll see how that plays out. Just like Kaep demanding a trade is all fun until you have to come to the table and start giving money back.
opening lead in to Sirius XM blitz was the 2015 NC play call by Scotty Miller when Carson ran the ball in

But your employer just went out of their way to make your job harder by trading away 4 picks that could help you do it for 1 that won't. If you're in his seat you're thinking. "WTF. You just gave me $13 million a year and 6 weeks later you're cutting the legs out from under me?" Whether he should be saying that kind of thing publicly or not is a problem, but it's not hard to see why he's upset.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
Was going to reply to Audits initial reply to my post and figured I should read ahead a bit and noticed a lot of similar comments to what I'm thinking. Sam needs to trust the staff and be confident that they are doing what is best for the team, be a professional about it, go out and compete with whomever they bring in and I think that'll make him a better QB when it's all said and done. I just don't like hearing about a guy that wants to bail when things aren't going his way.

The Philly station tracked Carson down at the airport... their guy was gushing. Based on the talk, they're going to be very disappointed if Carson goes to LA.
