The more I think about this I'm almost sure it is. It is a contest to get high seeded statements for the PST... I recall a few weeks ago that Tommy stated he had not gotten a statement in yet. It seemed a tiny bit forced, because up to this point he'd never made long mentions about Wentz or even NDSU for that matter, or if he did I missed it.

Then to have common run with it right away seems almost like a setup that they play to help each other out to get more listeners out of the deal.

Impossible, people in the media would never play games like that
