Kind of. It was a great article, but as someone else pointed out the "Fargo High" reference did take away a little of the authenticity. Carson wouldn't have written that part. Probably got lost in translation somehow. But regardless, great article indeed! I already shared it on my Facebook page.
VA's time in Orygun only proved that it doesn't matter how good you are, your team will suffer if you are so fragile that you get hurt just about every game. Orygun would have been better off developing another guy. They depended on VA too much and ultimately paid for it. Fucking ducks never have had a plan for QB after MM left. They never really planned ahead. (Read Mertens years...)
Insert something clever here...
Nice read!
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"
When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.
"The best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer."
Another thing I noticed the first time I read the article was Carson supposedly saying "God, we wanted to beat those guys." I don't think Carson would take the Lord's name in vain like that, so when I saw he was only a contributor to the article it made more sense. Now I clicked on the link again before I commented on this post, and now it says "Man, we wanted to beat those guys." I'll bet he contributed to that change.

"We are going to start out running the ball, and then we were going to run it again, and then when you think we couldn't possibly do it again, we were going to run some more. And when you're sick of getting dirty with us, we'll get heavy personnel and run with power and move you guys. We love to bring the boom. By the time we ran play-action and went over the top for a touchdown, your defense was just relieved that they didn't have to swap paint with us for one more play."
