Then Goff's advantage in passing yards and touchdowns can't be compared to Carson's because of a different offense. Seriously, statistical comparisons are always made between players from teams with different offensive or defensive systems. Because one player may come from a better team has never stopped people from making comparisons before. By the way, Goff has had 23 fumbles in 37 games (.622 per) compared to 9 for Carson in his 24 (.375 per). And Wentz ran the ball. But Goff has said he has played in cold weather---I hear it gets really frigid in California, Arizona and the rest of the Pac 12.

I agree on the comparison stuff in most regards. Tough to compare guys who came from polar opposite situations. Wentz played for s dominant FCS team and had 3 years to learn the system. A team that was dominant before him, and was dominant without him. Goff played for a mediocre at best P5 team and had to do it as soon as he got to school. Wentz was a true senior the first time he started. Goff... True freshman.
