Hmm... and Goff is in San Fran today.

Cal quarterback prospect Jared Goff is spending Monday visiting with the San Francisco 49ers, who pick seventh in the upcoming NFL Draft.

I'm really trying not to get excited, but I don't think Dallas or SF think Wentz will be available past 1.

With the new rookie contracts, it shouldn't even take those few days to get Wentz signed.

That's right he is...and why not? Might as well get a head start on their play book...

Sack percentage= (sacks)/(attempts+sacks). This was the forula I found, I am not sure if there are more advanced ways of doing it. Call up the moneyball guys.

I got Cal's(not Goff, Cal as a team) number from here, https://www.teamrankings.com/college.../qb-sacked-pct. CAL's 2015 sack percentage was 4.93% last season, and 5.07% the year before. Goff's percentages I calculated went from 5.7% as a Freshman, to 4.85% as a Soph, to 4.66% as a Senior.

I couldn't find a website as easily for Wentz, one said it was 4.9% the other day(can't find it again, it was one of those more obscure ones), but when I did it, I came up with 4.6% for his career. (3.7% in 2015, 5.2% in 2014's full season).

Izzy is a good guy, but I don't think I'm that twisted yet.

    Thanks.

On another note, he's a recent scouting report from SB Nation, some of it positive, some of it not so. I don't get this idea that Carson locks onto one receiver, but I am not expert obviously.

The kinds of small errors that creep into articles about Carson drive me crazy.

Fran Tarkenton was on the Jack Micheals show today (tape delayed ) and his pick is Carson. So there's that.

You are correct and I am wrong in terms of how to calculate things. Using your formula Goffs numbers would be (84) / (1569+84=1653)=5.08%. For Wentz (30)/(620+30=650)=4.62%.

I like how this play is used to demonstrate him not being able to make the right read:

Then they say if the throw is on target it's a touchdown, which is true of course.

All the experts in the comments agree Wentz can't read the field so I guess he must be right, and it wasn't just a poor throw with a guy in his face.
