Whatever it takes to free Wentz. Philly needs a QB who can scramble for the next few years until they can put together an actual NFL offensive line. Alshon is slow and lazy.

If they were playing harder for Jalen, good and glorious gravy, how terrible are the Eagles? They looked like complete crap on Sunday - how do you lose to the dumpster fire sinking into a cesspool that the Cowboys are?

And you do know that these guys are professional football players, right? Not catching footballs, not making blocks, not running routes right = not getting paid - well, unless you have a contract like Alshon's, that is.

Wentz looked off this year - his accuracy looked terrible and he was missing open guys, but even Rogers looks terrible when he gets hit 20 times in a game. Unfortunately, Carson didn't look good even when not under pressure. In fact, he looked better when he got out out of the pocket and improvised.
    Ok here we go.....
It is not out of the realm of reality that the locker room in Philly prefers a black QB. I said it, like it or not. Its possible.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that this line of thought is the stupidest God damn thing I've seen on Bisonville (outside of the political board.)

If folks are going to make an argument like that, then they should have some proof other than some anonymous source (Alshon) trying to pass off his lack of production on Wentz. Of course, the anonymous source is going to bust his ass after a QB change because he just saw his last, best excuse go down.

The thing is the anonymous source said this when FOLES was the backup so this is indeed the dumbest fucking thing I've ever read on Bisonville (including the political board.) Maybe in dog whistle world guys are going to risk their 7-figure short-term incomes to go on a semi-strike in the hopes of getting the right shade of QB, but that's not happening in the real world. Anybody who thinks that Jason Peters, for example, wasn't busting his ass is a moron - he might not have the ability anymore but his effort was not the problem.

If practices are crap and the game effort is crap, you know who is to blame in the real world? The freaking head coach and the GM.

One never knows. What we do know is that the NFL has taken a hard stance publicly on social activism. Also, don’t forget what happened to Drew Brees, who has been the consummate teammate with a plethora of accolades.

So far, it has taken each of Hurts’ 3 opponents one-half of a game to figure him out.

I bagged on Peters but think it was entirely age/injury related. Coaching staff is to blame for leaving him out there as ineffective as he was.

JJ Watt could not have said it any better.

    Well done

That was the person's point. Hurts although "exciting" to the philly faithful has not won. 1-2 as a starter. And two, as teams get more film, he will be less effective. When the Cowboys starting mixing up the rush and showed blitz from many places, the eagles were 3 and out. Over and over.

The Redskins need to win on Sunday. So expect a lot of variety to confuse the rookie.

Yeah, the backup QB is always the most popular player on dysfunctional teams.

Oh well, I sure hope that either Wentz gets traded or the Eagles get a new coach/GM. For the people who think that guys play harder for a new QB, imagine how they play for a new coach who isn't going to put up with their missed assignments, half-assed route running, clown-show practice habits, and Alshon-level effort?

If I were more of an Eagles fan, I'd want to start over with a new coach and GM, that's for sure.
