It's December...this is the perfect time to rally behind Saint Nick until Carson is back.

Doug just confirmed in a press conference that Carson is out for the year.

Look for this news in the next 2 hours.

This is what I saw. CW planted and lunged with his left leg. He was hit hard on right leg, but that didn’t cause injury—> https://twitter.com/domizzowday/stat...68416899919872

So earlier this season, I got a very small tear in my meniscus from trail running in CO. This was 3 months ago. It certainly sucks, but therapies have come a long long way.

I snowboarded 2 weeks in a row, and have hiked as well. So here is my thoughts-

Therapies have come a long long way. There is Platelet Rich Plasma therapy which can repair a minor tear in 8 weeks. There is also stem cell therapies with each injection costing $5k. If this is a full tear then I can't speak with any educated guess. But I suspect they couldn't confirm last night is because he probably didn't completely fail the Lachman's test, which was the same as me.

The people and media constantly talking about "he shouldn't be running, he should slide, the coaches should be telling him to avoid contact" drive me nuts. It's football for crying out loud there is always a risk of injury whether he's running, sliding or standing in the pocket. How many times do you see linemen falling or rolling into someone's legs? Get a grip people! The competitive side is what makes Carson so great. He's willing to do anything to win and help his team. I have no doubt he will be back and better then ever!

Yes, now that I watch it again you can see that last push off with his left leg...it seems to be turned a bit funny.

Yep, and in the meantime he’ll help Foles improve his game from the sidelines and he will continue to lead, motivate and coach his team.

Left foot plants, ligament tears, Wentz scores......in that order. So, technically, he rushed for a TD and then threw for one (because of the holding penalty) in consecutive plays with a torn ACL. Yeah. I know, he would have crossed the goal line with or without the injury. But still. What a stud.
