Hurts is one of those players who really needed a preseason.

They all needed a preseason. Nobody was sharp and on the bounce the first few weeks.

    Default Carson Wentz

Stand your ground, have a tough hide, roam wild and free, have a strong spirit, let the chips fall where they may.

He doesn't have much choice. If Carson starts out badly on Monday Night, I'd imagine he'll get pulled for Hurts.

Might be ok. If Hurts can get it done, so be it. Of course, he'll be a sitting duck behind a depleted line, and no one to throw too. But that could ultimately help Carson. And a week without 5 sacks is still a week making the big bucks.

Doubt Hurts will be better behind that oline and play calling but I suppose Dougie P could call a better game with a different QB........where have we seen that before lol.

The consensus seems to be his mechanics suck, he keeps playing hero ball, has no talent around him, and his coach sucks.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell unfortunately

There may possibly be some similarities to what happened to Andrew Luck and Carson. He stated his injury in 2016 (concussion) was difficult to get past. A young healthy person can't help but think of long term consequences of getting your head smashed many times in the course of a season. It might be subconscious, but I doubt it goes away.

A lot of great QBs didnt get great until they went to another team.
