There's always one or two snowflakes in his mentions every time he posts something hunting related, glad he answered back for once.

That top reply is pretty good!

Hey Pucknut, does Carson and Deflippo have any bets on the championship game?

Carson finishes the season #1 in the ESPN QBR rankings by a wide margin. Keenum finishes #2.

Think about how often you hear football coaches harping on the importance of performance on third down. They're saying it for a reason -- that's where lots of high-leverage moments in a football game occur. It's also where Carson Wentz fueled his 2017 breakout. A season ago, Wentz ranked 28th in third-down raw QBR. This year? He finished first, and by a mile. It's just one of many areas of Wentz's game that improved dramatically; performance outside the pocket also comes to mind. The rhetoric around Wentz was too optimistic in his rookie season, but he lived up to all the high hopes that were thrust upon him and is one of the best quarterbacks in football and an MVP candidate despite his season ending prematurely.

How cool would it be if Carson won the MVP this year and then won the Comeback player of the year next year!

Our family sat around the fireplace this Christmas drinking large amounts of booze and shared and listened to Carson Wentz stories. My favorite is the one where Carson threw the ball 87 yards thru the air and caught his own pass for the winning touchdown as time ran out. I don't recall which game it was, as I said earlier, we were drinking pretty hard that Xmas night. But I recall Pa saying it was against a really good team in a really big game. Gee! I sure do enjoy those Carson Wentz Christmas stories. Thanks Santa.

Congratulations to Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson, named first-team All-Pro, and Fletcher Cox and Carson Wentz, named second-team All-Pro.
