WOW!!! Would you have even guessed when he was in High School or to be honest even with the Bison that someday he would be voted into top 4 QB by his peers? That is just insane to think about.

Carson has to run to stay healthy - keeps the rushers guessing.

I'm guessing that he is being told not to try to run through tacklers though.

    #1, #2, #4, #6, #10 - which of those plays would be considered ill-advised?

Or these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBeKPhiBmMo - the first year, he was mostly running for his life.

"Watching Carson Wentz Attack His Rehab Is Nothing Short of Incredible"

FTA: Carson Wentz has done some of his best work behind closed doors, far from any TV cameras or adoring fans, with just a trainer or two and maybe a few teammates in the room. While Nick Foles has enjoyed the banquet circuit these last few months and all that comes with being Super Bowl MVP - national TV appearances, a book deal, life as a celebrity - the guy he replaced has had a pretty good offseason himself. It's just that nobody has seen it.

He is going to run, it is just how he plays the game and it makes him a major threat because of it. It needs to be a tool in his toolbox as it makes him very very dangerous. It comes down to situational awareness and when he takes the hits and how he absorbs the hits. Last year he did a lot better job of not taking needless hits and he needs to continue being smart about that. The NFL is a long season and you do your team no good in the rehab room and not on the field.

Hits have a cumulative impact on the body and have other consequences than just that one hit. Athletes are "well oiled machines" but when those hits cause the "machine" to not work as optimally it can lead to other injuries.

Now for disclosure I am not saying this is what happened to Carson last year at all, so do not take that leap as it is just a example of how things can have a impact. A player takes a major hit into a quad and it causes major bruising swelling pain and injury. Without going into the neurology of it all, this can then lead to a decrease in muscle support to the knee and that can then lead to a catastrophic injury to that joint when it is put under stress or the biomechanics are changed.

Any player that takes unnecessary hits over and over will quickly learn that NFL stands for Not For Long as that will be their career.

I have full confidence that Carson will play Smart but aggressive and not reckless and aggressive as he is a very smart player that has excellent learning capability of situational awareness.

He needs to slide on #10. Had the first and got tackled gaining an extra 2 yds.

I don't think any of his decisions to run are ill-advised - he just needs to take the easy yards and get down or out of bounds instead of plowing into guys or getting dragged down from behind.
The white jerseys are the best. Don't even bother to argue.
