leave it to El Chapo to get a thread back on track:
Russell Wilson just got $140 million & is highest paid player, Will Carson get more?
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
I agree that he's not due for that kind of payday yet but I think all he'd need is a healthy season where he puts up Pro-Bowl numbers to get there. Basically just do the same thing he's done for the last 2 years except stay healthy and do it for a full season. Something like 4200 yards, 30+ TDs, and 10 (or less) INTs.
Based on his per game averages had he played 16 games in each of the last two seasons his numbers would've been 4,056 yards, 41 TDs, and 9 INTs in 2017 and then 4471 yards, 31 TDs, and 10 INTs in 2018.

I agree, and I think you'll see that reflected in the guaranteed money component of his next contract. He hasn't yet proven he can put together a complete pro bowl season.
I'm sure I'm the first person to offer this take: This season is really, really important for his NFL future.
He'll be the next highest paid player. Philly got rid of foles and staked their future in Wentz, injuries or not. And a guy they consider a franchise QB will be next in line.
