Perkins is the 3rd TE but they are playing him mostly at WR since they are so thin there.

Good sport. Hanging out with Carson is already making him a better person.

Good sport? Hell it is probably a dream come true. "Thank God I get to finally wear some Bison gear."

Have to wonder if Goedert ever thinks maybe he should have gone to NDSU .........would have some rings to show for his college days.

Sure, but would he be in the NFL? Most likely yes as talent rises to the top.

I think the chances are high, but probably not as high in our schemes. We have utilized TEs a lot in the past (somehow not as much this year), but I feel like our run-game would skew the visibility of his catching talent as opposed to how he was used at SDSU...

    Maybe that's way off...

I think you are right, people have a tendency to see talent, and coaches have a tendency to adapt their philosophy to use the talent available. Plus Matt Veldman caught on in the NFL for awhile, and while he was a very good player, I don't think he "jumped out" at me on a week to week basis.

The only unknown is would NDSU have moved him to a different position?
