I wouldn’t pay much attention to Brandon Stokley. He’s is a Louisiana knucklehead who once mistook a muscle relaxer for his vitamin prior to a practice. He currently serves a comic relief commentator for Denver’s 104.3 The Fan.

With that said, I wish a speedy recovery for Carson as this type of injury is serious and he better not be rushed back into action until he’s completely ready.

Carson has to learn to get down. Could have been a penalty but there have been similar plays not called this year. I don’t think it was cheap, just a penalty that didn’t get called. Playoff football.

He did get down. He was down. Clowney assaulted him, no different than Myles Garret swinging his helmet at Mason Rudolph a month or so back. There was no football justification for the play Clowney made.

You’re kidding right? Even a headfirst dive is giving himself up and cannot be hit. The rule is changed from several years ago.

This hit was super cheap. Headfirst dive at Carson’s head.

I don’t think Carson was diving forward, but falling forward as his legs were wrapped up by a defender. Even more reason why Clowney probably gets a HUGE fine and probable suspension.

I’m not kidding. Never said it shouldn’t have been a penalty but it’s not like this doesn’t happen in the NFL. Likely a fine.
