Agreed, If he comes back and still wants to play reckless abandon on broken plays, His seasons are numbered. I think he will get schooled on this pretty hard before his next return. Also, I can see Foles being the starter in Philly next year as Wentz probably isn't going to be 100% until mid-season AT BEST. My understanding is that his injury was pretty severe and a quick return may be wishful thinking on his behalf and not coach Pederson's. I hope he takes his time coming back and has a ten year career or more.

Such a weird dynamic for him. Of course he is elated. Of course he had a big part to do with the win. Of course he is happy for his bros. But just watch the disrespect that will be coming from all the dumb talking heads coming forward. He is grounded enough to endure it, but just watch folks start trying to minimize his skill set, etc......

It’s already happening. Some calling him a system QB. All those plays he extended with his legs this season we’re part of a system. Gotchya

Think of it like Lakes would think about it...as long as they are talking about him...

I would be willing to bet that the Eagles/Carson find a way to get the family a championship ring.

Yep, he pocket work was outstanding; that needs to continue. But TAB is correct he MUST protect himself outside the pocket.

I always laugh at that because every QB is a system QB. Brady is the biggest example of that, when he has missed games other QB's have won there too. It all comes down to coaching IMO. Just look at the Rams with Fisher and then with McVay. It's a shame that Pederson didn't win COY this year.

Yes that's the thing he needs to work on the most and it's also one of the hardest things to do when you are as competitive as he is but he will get it. Look at the way he improved this season on the things he needed to, third downs, red zone, situational FB he killed it.

If he wants to play until he's 40 he need only take a look at Brady. He drops quick, makes quick decisions and delivers. Wentz has all the size and tools, simply needs some time to improve on his accuracy and his timing relationships with the WR's, as Brady did over his early years. You only get away with running around so long in the NFL, aka, "Not For Long" league.
