"Credit the Eagles. Just a hard fight. It was a tough, hard fight. They came roaring back. That's a really good football team. Give Carson Wentz a lot of credit. He played, just - he got hit and he kept coming back, making plays with his legs, hanging in there and making throws. I give Carson a lot of credit. I thought he led them."

There is a very good chance this year that whoever has #1 is not going to give up the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. NFL teams have been waiting for T Law since he was in high school.

Not sure what Philly would gain from having the #1 pick anyway, their team is terrible and substituting T Law in for C Dubs isn't going to make them a contender. I think thr Eagles would be better off writing this year off and trying to get Wentz some help in the draft. They'll have a high pick probably so might as well use that on a high end lineman. Quarterbacks can make do with bad receivers but a bad line is tough to work with.

They were raving about Carson's toughness on Philly sports radio today. Like I've posted before, the people on social media ripping on Carson the last two weeks are mostly Cowboy fans.

Now it looks like Sanders is out 1-2 weeks and Ertz our 3-4 weeks. It never ends

Would not shock me if Trey ended up on Washington. Their new GM drafted Russell Wilson, if they liked Haskins so much they would not have benched him yet.

In the Eagles come back Wentz looked more like himself in the 4th quarter. Moving around, accurate, making smooth/ridiculous throws that no one can get to other than the intended receiver. They still need to move him around more, instead of 7 step drops and no one is open.

They should sign Antonio Brown at this point. If he's eligible at least.

Wentz has literally no one to throw to and they're still (somehow) in the mix for the East.

That isn't who Carson Wentz is. Character guys like Carson don't quit on their teammates because the fan base is full of assholes. Who's going to trade for a quarterback that wants out of city because the fans are mean? Browns and Jets are not acceptable answers as they do not qualify as NFL teams. Yes I know the Browns are having a non-Brown like year, you get what I'm saying.

I wanted to pull my hair out watching the last 2 point play. I couldn't fathom what Pederson was thinking with that play call. First, they should have called time out because they were rushed at the end (probably should have been flagged for a false start). But like so many things we see and question, I got the rest of the story on Greeny's show this morning. The tight end on the left side of the formation was supposed to block one of the defenders that was in on the tackle. He decided to run a pass route instead of blocking his guy for some reason known only to him and God. If he does his job, Eagles have a 2 on 1 for a walk in 2 point conversion. Just one example where if all 11 guys aren't on the same page, you aren't going to be successful, and it doesn't matter who the quarterback is. You're going to get exactly what you see out of the Eagles with 9 or 10 new starters on offense with 9 or 10 new guys at the no. 2 spot on the depth chart with no training camp or preseason games.

And people think, Philly was a bad place for their guy to land....

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
