There may possibly be some similarities to what happened to Andrew Luck and Carson. He stated his injury in 2016 (concussion) was difficult to get past. A young healthy person can't help but think of long term consequences of getting your head smashed many times in the course of a season. It might be subconscious, but I doubt it goes away.

As far as I can tell, he's got the yips. He has all the tools, and a great football mind, but the system just isn't working anymore. He and the Eagles need a divorce.
