No Beck even in honorable mention. That means apart from Littlejohn, the voters for this think there are 6 other LBs in the conference better than Beck. A four year starter on the best FCS defense ever and the MVP of the national title game as a freshman.

Maybe it's the Grant Olson effect, they'll have to wait to see it before they believe it that Johnson is out for the season
Also on the injury front, mentioned during the MVFC stuff were players hurt for SDSU and UNI

SDSU coach John Stiegelmeier said starters LB Charles Elmore and RG Mike Shoff are out for the season due out injury. Both had surgeries.

UNI coach Mark Farley said that his son, LB Jake Farley, is still a work in progress returning from injury. There were some setbacks.

Jake Farley, unlike Zack Johnson however, was not named to the preseason team.
