    Default Dudzick to the slot????

Heard on WDAY sports at 6 that they are considering Christian Dudzick to try to play the slot. They can't be serious can they? You'd take a great safety and one of our best DB's for a slot receiver?? That makes no sense to me. Surely Price or one of the other receivers can fill that spot.

They wouldn't do that unless they had another really good safety waiting in the wings

He's a dynamic playmaker. Why not? He's a hell of an athlete!

He would not move from defense and probably just take some snaps on offense. I will have to see it to believe it tho.

Sorry I meant Wrice in the OP. We've got plenty of guys to put in the slot IMO. Try Darius Anderson there if he's not going to get any carries.

Dudzik has the talent to do both. I am sure taking some snaps on offense won't take away from his stellar defensive play. Keep in mind Charles Woodson in college played both CB and WR. It can be done.

I just don't see the need. We have receivers, let them learn the position, that's how they get better.

I'm sure it's to cause confusion or for some fumblerooski style play.

I like the idea. He is probably the fastest guy on the team. I doubt he would get a ton of snaps but even a handful of plays would be worth while.
