Jaye Two Bears from Shiloh is supposedly a D1 talent. I've heard she's received offers from schools "bigger" than NDSU also.

Best way to improve the Bison is to recruit Sioux?

Jaye is potentially out for the year with a knee injury.
    If it flies it dies.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

That's too bad. Only a junior, hopefully she comes back 100% next season.

I somewhat wonder if this scare off the big schools and allow a school like ndsu to be a good choice.

A local name to keep an eye on for the future,

Sam Haiby is formidable freshman for Moorhead girls basketball
Through 11 games, she’s averaging 19.5 points, 5.6 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 steals and shooting above 41 percent, including 39 percent from beyond the 3-point line.

A nice article on another local name to keep an eye on -
for you out-of-town folks who don't get the Forum, a name familiar to Bison football fans...........

Mira Ellefson - 5' 10" JR from Hawley

Mira is averaging 18.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.9 steals a game for Class 2A’s No. 4-ranked Hawley. She’s shooting 55 percent from inside the 3-point arc and 45 percent outside of it.

“What’s nice about Mira is she’s versatile,” Hawley girls basketball coach Bill Gottenborg said. “She can play inside or outside and for a girl her size, she can handle the ball really well. She’s tough too. It seems like girls just bounce off her down low.”
