Please THINK HARD about wanting to go FBS after reading this.

That article does a resonable look at on field wins and loses, it doesn't look at who they played both prior to transition and post transition. But the big thing that is lacking is the look at the $$$ involved, upgrading facilities, increased travel costs, having to pay FCS teams to come and play. The big draw for people to the BCS is the $$$ and in reality the $$$ is not near worth the transition unless you get into an established league with a good TV contract. I'm interested to see the success/failure of App St and Ga Southern. They have more geographic reasons to move up than there are for the NDSU's and UM's.

Blah blah blah..........those schools are not NDSU. I am still 100% for a move up to FBS if the conditions are right.........and NDSU should be doing everything possible to position football for a move to FBS (or equivalent) in the next 5 to 10 years.

I think I can buy that logic. No committing to a move, but getting in a position so it would be possible should it be in the best interest of the University. Nothing at all wrong with that logic.

I've always said this, I don't want NDSU to move up and have the payoff be a stupid meaningless bowl game.

I also don't want to move up into an artificially uncompetitive situation.

He keeps it interesting there. You guys allow no smack, friendly banter or anything there and ban anything green and gold that moves...pretty boring. If it wasn't for Lakes and the occasional ISU fan that comes here there would be zero fanbase interaction. I hope we don't get kicked out of Jack Trice for wearing NDSU garb

Generally, we are a pretty friendly bunch.
