B-52. Cool, these planes are not seen at that low of a altitude very often, usually high in the sky. Really Special since it cam e from Minot AFB for the game. GO BISON.

In my HS days we saw them almost daily flying training missions in Central ND. We farmed in the corridor they used. Not sure if Minot or GFAFB planes then.

Air Force said their hard deck was 500 feet but many claimed they were flying lower. They were definitely low but who can say? Huge planes like this are giant even at 1,000 ft.

They were practicing attacking Soviet Union. Vietnam proved they couldn't survive at altitude in a high threat environment like existed in Russia.

Awesome planes and still have a useful place in both tactical and strategic roles.

Back in the day we had them flyover the farm and you could see the pilots in the cockpit. Also been out in the field farmning and pretty sure I was the target for a practice run or two. They flew higher for that.

Had one sneak up on me and pass directly over from behind while cultivating Summer Fallow. It was after lunch and I was nodding off a bit. Scared the crap out of me.

That was in Benson County NW of Blackhammer Hill if you know where that's at.

Seeing Puff The Magic Dragon in action was one of my favorites.
