De LaSalle's Sacar Anim announced last night on twitter that he'll make his college decision today at 3:30 pm. Here's hoping he chooses Marquette over SDSU and USD.

First page is updated with Mitchell being added to the 2016 offer list and some 2017 recruits with interest.

I'm guessing he will end up at UNI

Dickerson's juco coach at Williston is now on Craig Smith's staff at USD.

StarTribune All-Metro Team is out. It includes several players NDSU was (or is) involved with -

JT Gibson - Champlin Park - Metro Player of the year - Omaha commit (NDSU & others offered)

Gibson’s physical skills are more than enough to justify his selection. He’s a terrific slasher who can blow past defenders. He’s a 47-percent shooter from beyond the three-point arc who has an uncanny ability to come up with a clutch basket. He runs the break with precision, passes as well as he shoots (4.5 assists per game) and leads the team in scoring, averaging about 19 points per game.

Champlin Park has plenty of others capable of those types of numbers. All four of the Rebels’ starting guards — seniors Gibson, Marty Hill, Jeremy Johnson and sophomore McKinley Wright (2017 NDSU interest) — would be the linchpin to most high-school offenses. Sophomore forward Theo John (2017 NDSU interest) is a budding talent whose college recruitment is likely to get Tyus Jones-like scrutiny over the next couple of seasons.

Also on the StarTribune All-Metro 1st team:

    - Marshawn Wilson - 6' 2" G - Hill-Murray HS - 2015 NDSU interest
offers - Colorado State, Creighton, Illinois State and Northern Iowa

    - John Warren - 6' 4" G/F - Hopkins - offer from LIU Brooklyn - 2015 NDSU interest

    - Sacar Anin - DeLasalle - Marquette verbal (SDSU, USD, offers among others)

    - Steffon Mitchell - 6' 6" F - Shakopee - 2016 NDSU offer -
other offers - SDSU, USD, Furman, Central Michigan and American

Other familiar All-Metro names include 6' 3" Sid Tomes (East Ridge) and 6' 2" Tyler Johnson (2016 Mpls North) on the 3rd team

    Theo John - 6' 9" 225 lbs - Champlin Park (MN) - (2017 NDSU interest)
Article on him in the StarTribune, could be a prospect who is already blowing up as a Sophomore

Champlin Park's John wows with big wingspan.....

The sophomore forward stands 6-8, not that unusual for an interior player at a big school. What is remarkable is his wingspan. Measured fingertip-to-fingertip with his arms fully extended, John’s wingspan is 7-4. That’s a full 8 inches longer than the average person, whose wingspan and height are roughly the same.

College recruiters certainly have noticed. A combination of graceful agility and athletic force, John is already the subject of a growing recruiting battle. Minnesota and Wisconsin are already in eager pursuit and, according to John, attention from college coaches has increased throughout the season.
