    Default Where's Everyone Staying at in Ames, IA?

    Just trying to figure out where everyone is staying for the Iowa game. Ames looks to be booked unless you want to pay $200/night at a shitty Hilton Garden Inn. We reserved a room at the Best Western in Ankeny for $90/night. 30 minutes to the stadium. Pool for the kids, Bar for the adults and free breakfast for champs.

    If anyone is looking for rooms in AMES... we have extra. And yes, they are all a bit expensive.
    OK an update as alot of pm's re: which hotels ~
    Country Inn & Suites in Ames ~ Fairfield Inn & Suites ~

    We got the Hampton, pricey as hell but split up it's not so bad.

    We are staying at the downtown Marriot where the Friday night event is. If you are bringing a tailgate rig or bus they have a parking ramp. They have a lot for free oversized parking. I have the number if anyone needs it.

    I got rooms at country inn and suites Friday and Saturday. Booked them 4 months ago $99/nite.
