    This bears repeating.

    FIFY.

Sorry about not elaborating in in my post. I was using my phone and it was all I could do to get the links in there.

Tim was named the Division I Baseball Academic All-American of the Year. Like road said, there's only one of those each year in all of Division I baseball. Tim was also named first team Academic All-American for the third straight year(only 3 OF named per year).

Tim is the 4th Academic All-American of the Year at NDSU, joining Jill Theeler(T&F-2002), Marc Steckler (T&F-2005), and Brett Winkelmann (MBB-2009).

Tim was also just named as one of three Summit League Scholar athletes of the year. This covers all sports offered by the league.

Since we joined the Summit, there has only been one year where the Bison didn't have a Summit Scholar-Athlete of the Year. (normally there are two SAotY(1M/1W); occasionally three). Winkelman got two, Whitney Carlson, Amy Anderson and now Tim each got one. They've never given multiple awards to the same school for the same year.
