I wonder if he wants to play football too? Big kid. Looks like he carries that 285 pretty well.

Any insight why there are so many NDSU decommits? Is this normal?

Louie Sanders of Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Area decommits and commits to SDSU.
Rylee Streifel of Prior Lake decommits and commits to U of M.
    Cameron Sykora of Wheaton decommits.

No, this is very scary. Sykora of Wheaton is so strange.

Youd think Whitney Johnson Softball star from Lake Crystal would've been able to keep Sanders here! j/k

I see that someone on a different site was asking...
What happened to Nazar Mironenko and Christian Stackhouse? They were early commits last year and are no where to be found on the updated roster.

Could be anything from personal reasons to not being projected to crack the starting lineup etc.

There are 37 wrestlers listed on the current roster. There are only 9.9 scholarships to spread among that many athletes. A lot of this might have to do with the scholarship amount offered.

Both of the last two posts are spot on.

Wrestling does not have many scholarships to give out. When a kid sees that he might not crack the lineup for a few years, he will go where he can wrestle right away.

The best wrestling programs: Minnesota, OK State, Iowa, Penn State and others can have a roster full of blue chip recruits because kids want to be a part of a great tradition/program.

IMO, Kish is working towards that. There are many great HS wrestlers every year and they all cannot go to those programs.

Is the 9.9 the MAX allowed by the NCAA? Seems low to me.
