They also lost the best WR in the league, Devonte Adams. Fall out due to Rodger's contract.

Adams refused the franchise tag and forced a trade. It had nothing to do with Roger's contract. Roger's contract is cap friendly for 2022 and the team could absorb Adams on a tag for one season.
