Best part of the lead up to that game was the Twitter shots of the Wilson rehab of 19 hours a day for has bad finger......Shefter looked pretty dumb to buy into that crap.

He’s kind of on a looking dumb streak right now.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

I watched tiny bits of that game but did see a Green Bay TD run where Billy took his guy into the end zone and pancaked him.

Good for him. He's quietly made a pretty solid career for himself.

Billy has had a really nice career. It started really rough as he was drafted by a completely dysfunctional team in the Dolphins at that time.

Pretty easy to torpedo a career with a hiccup like that. Says a lot that Turner made it through that mess and turned football into a career for himself.

It makes you wonder how many NFL careers got derailed because the team wasn't a good match for the player and some may not get a 2nd or 3rd chance with other teams.

Timing is a huge factor with a little bit of luck on many careers. Same can be said for musicians she actors. Hard work and opportunity meet to create that luck as well.
