It is a tricky issue, but I've always found it interesting the union has never pushed for a max salary which, when combined with salary cap, would force better payment for those lower on the ladder which is pretty much the vast majority......I suppose also pushing up minimum salary helps with this, too, but this is what happens when you are in the middle. I suppose the "little guys" don't want to ruffle feathers....

Wonder what AR thinks of this move? From the articles I've read, Rodgers had a real appreciation for Turner's work ethic and skills.

You're right. I have just been very disappointed in their positions of need and not drafting or signing someone that could potentially help them on the line. Both Joe Haeg and Billy Turner were prime examples of guys they could have easily taken flyers (Haeg draft in say fifth and Billy after his stint in Denver when the Vikes line was in disarray) on for reasonable both in the draft and free agency. And honestly till Ellefson there had been a few practice players over the years, but they have not really looked at many Bison players.
