    Nothing. A coach jumping ship has no punishment, neither does the school he jumps ship for and the school that he leaves has no recourse, unless it is in the original contract. The NCAA only cares about the Student Athletes, and the contact the coaches have with them in recruiting and in season time.

    Hughes was named head coach at Southern Virginia in March. I'm guessing he told them he was committed to their program.

    Local paper is owned by Gannett and ran a story today (I believe from USA Today about this story. It never mentioned he had taken the job at Minot State. That's kind of a key part of the story.
