Hearing rumors that Missouri State and JMU have received invites. There was also speculation earlier this week that Liberty received an invite. They will add somebody now the question appears to be who will they add and if they will go beyond 12 schools?

It's a big loss in the heartland and ISU blue and the Illinois schools wouldn't be too pleased I think.

And yeah, FCS seems to be getting worse, but so does FBS. An FBS league wants a perennial FCS bottom feeder? Not a good sign.

my concern precisely. Like it or not they're probably more attractive to the mvc than ndsu is.

Actually I've heard the opposite.

I still doubt the private MVC schools add a Dakota school though. The MVC schools in the MVFC come to Fargo and see what we are all about, the private schools have obviously never been here. They seem to have a ton of influence with what happens in that conference. Last time public football playing schools were not even considered.

Wouldn't Omaha be a draw for them. Back into the Omaha media market that the MVC is familiar with and a University making a commitment to basketball. They wouldn't have to worry about losing them to a FBS conference as they don't have football. Would seem to be quite stable that way.
