It's not as easy as calling and saying what's up, those teams know we can beat them and are not going to pay us to do it, we keep winning these games and we won't have any FBS interested

Yea I don't see a list of who JJ or whomever called, but there was plenty of FBS teams NDSU could've played. I think we sell ourselves short and aren't aggressive enough

Because it's more important to have a 6th home game. You can bitch all you want but an overwhelming number of season ticket holders want 6 home games. That's the price we pay to bring in a quality FCS team like Montana. If we don't schedule Montana we would have had a cupcake at home and a road FBS game. Can't have both. I know you would bitch about a home cupcake game too. If you schedule Oklahoma and have 5 home games and lose to the Sooner and drop 1 home game, we probably miss the playoffs unless we go undefeated on the road.

And that list of teams, very few of them outside of Oklahoma would have garnered any major media. Tulane would pay us less than we make at home. Most of those games would not be televised. Zero exposure. Maybe a little respect but we're past the point of having to earn respect.
