It looks more his staff that left saw opportunities for Craig Smith to get a head coaching gig and for Jayden Olson to get back to ND. That is how I would look at it.

Yeah, Olson and Smith both moved up the coaching ladder. The only other assistant he lost was Ben Johnson a year ago and he left to go back to his Alma Mater.
