I know he had a 10.64 at the EDC in '10, not sure if PR.

10.64 vs. 10.44 is about the length of two pieces of paper. Smith could still reach out and touch him at 100. There are really only a few times when you get to just go straight in football anyways. A better question would be who is quicker. I do think it is a fair comparison. They have similar attributes. Smith has great hands and can take a hit. I don't know how Dressler stacks up in these areas, but I am guessing pretty well if he has an NFL invite. It comes down to minimizing those hammy issues. With football as a full time career and exposure to full time trainers, I have to think this will get addressed positively.

Dressler has a better burst from 0-10yds IMHO. Smith is very slippery getting open. Both are great. Dressler has proved it in Canada. Hopefully Ryan can as well. Wish him the best and the same for Weston in KC.

Coach Chamblin talks a bit about Ryan.

Two tenths of a second in a hundred meters is a hell of a lot more more than a sheet of paper....And Ryan's got good speed, 10.64 is fast but Dressler is hands down, the fastest kid to ever come out of ND. Stacy Robinson is 3rd on NDSU all time 100 meter list at 10.40!

A tenth of a second in the 100 is about a foot. Two tenths equals about two feet or close to two sheets of paper.

I was going to watch the game but ended up having to make a quick trip out of town.

If you watch highlights on website his return is around the minute mark he drags his tackler for a few extra yards. I also forgot to watch game not used to football in June.
