So we have Saul leave and publicly state he hopes his #2 man get the job and they then work through the assistants to have a place to go. We have Bohl leave and Klieman gets the job and he won't talk to him and they are pissed at each other and the tension is terrible. Just things that make you go hmmmmmm and who cares about OUR program and who cares just about his own career.

Great post........so very true. It's not so great that NDSU gets cherry picked for coaching talent........even with all the winning tradition coaching changes can sometime result in a disaster. It's naive to think NDSU will always come out OK when coaches leave for whatever reason. Look at womens' basketball, soccer and volleyball.

We do. Which is why I do not care about what he does.

I still consider the loss to Wyoming in '08 as one of the worse losses in recent history. I would love to see a rematch. Is that a real possibility or is there too much bad blood between Gene-Klienman/Bohl?

I dont think this will happen as long as Bohl is incharge at WYO because he has lot more to lose than Klieman.
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

All that tension was because the football season wasn't over, though. Had Bohl been offered the job after the season, it would be a completely different story. Everything behind the scenes would be the same, but the public wouldn't know anything about it.

Sorry but you are giving Bohl too much credit. Just understand the man showed his true character. End of story..

That's what I meant by "behind the scenes everything would be the same". Bohl would have showed his true character either way, but if the hire happened after the season, the public would have no knowledge of a pissing match.
