    Default UMass Leaving the MAC

Not sure what this means for their football program.....

UMass will no longer be football member of MAC after 2015, sources told @ESPN

Sounds like UMass might be headed to the Sun Belt.

I could see JMU and Delaware if they want to expand but maybe they will just stay at 12.

There couldn't be better timing. Football exposure. Basketball exposure. New arena. Team moving out. Would be able to do both football and basketball. Mac sent a team to the orange bowl 2 years ago. Sports line up. National success in wrestling with a top class and new faculties. New track complex. Softball. Volley ball TYPICALLY does well

The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Sounds like the MAC doesn't want to replace them. Which can only mean one thing...they *do* want to replace them.

I hate the idea of NDSU in the MAC. Is there anybody here that sees a MAC game on TV and envies anything about it (outside the Orange Bowl)?
