Skilled 6'6" bigs may work out in Summit play, but the bar has been raised to competing nationally. The smaller bigs definitely have a place/role with us but we are going to need some bigger guys under the rim.

I understand what you're saying. Maybe put bench players in during game earlier when playing the likes of IUPIU teams for real in-game experience. Easier said than done I know. Maybe more wishful than reality.

I'm not sure at all what type of player Werner is right now in the summit. I think Brown moves to small forward - he has really turned into a nice player, but he's not a ball handler and they wont have Braun pulling that duty next year.

No doubt Saul has a few on his radar, I just hope he is here to recruit them.

Y does it seem like BB recruiting is more hush, hush than FB. Or am I missing something?

It is very hush, hush. Not sure why entirely but I guess other coaches have used this forum as a resource in some cases.

The problem with recruiting is the number of guys your trying to get. Football you get a ton of players and offer a number of guys. Right now we have 2 spots left to fill and with this run and a new arena coming will be huge for us. Also, the summit is getting stronger as a conference.

That is interesting. I wonder if Bball recruits names are not out there as much. They may explain why a Taylor Braun type could get no D1 offer.
