The activity fee contributes about $1.2 million per year to the athletic department (give or take a hundred grand). How much that is of the total activity fee, I don't know. The total athletic department budget is around $17 million (give or take a mil). I thought a news article maybe a year back said NDSU got around 40-45% of its athletic budget from institutional sources(state, university, tuition, fees, etc.). That was pretty low for a school of our size/position. Most of our peers were 60-80%.
