Well it is official....Shaka gone... https://twitter.com/GoodmanESPN/stat...19570512793600

I agree Sav would have been interesting if Florida had gotten into the Shaka sweepstakes.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

WSU was working hard and planned to do whatever it takes to keep him. WSU > Bama right now but he could build bama, sec is going to be very competitive next year with 5-6 teams in top 25 recruiting classes.
LSU is going to be very good next year with #1 recruit and another top 10 guy coming in.

Simmons is legit, clear #1 recruit as of now, he's smooth. Texas A&M will be pretty good if they gel together.

shaka comin to texas is huge.

especially if he can keep more in state recruits at the flagship. Love the hiring, Texas has become a real hotbed for basketball talent

Really glad it wasn't Marshall at Texas - that dude is a helluva coach. Not really sure if Florida is a better job than Texas. Both look up to football, and other than Donovan both haven't really been a basketball powerhouse. Perhaps Donovan made Florida into one but before Donovan FLorida was nothing more than a steppoing stone to better jobs if coaches became successful.
