2009 averaged 4 more points/game because it did not take the other team 35 seconds to get a shot off. The 2014 team make the opposition work harder and longer for points. I'll take North Dunkota in an uptempo game any day of the week. You have 5-6 throw down finishers on the 2014 team compared to 2-3 from 2009.

I don't see that matchup being any type of an uptempo game - 2014 wouldn't allow it. If there was a matchup 2014 would completely control the pace of the game, but 2009 may pull it out in the end with Woodside because it would be a close, flogging game. 2014 struggles to put games away because of lack of ball handlers, but 2009 didn't have the kind of defense that could threaten that anyways.

We stayed at 43 in the latest rpi one spot ahead of the gophers and about 30 spots ahead of where the bunnies finished the year

Pretty tough to argue with that.

According to this site (http://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-bas...rating-by-conf), the Summit right now is #26 out of 33 conferences and we are the highest rated team in our league. Definitely a big drop from the last couple years. Hopefully as a whole we can finish the OOC season strong.

http://kenpom.com/ has us at #148 and the best team in the Summit right now. Denver is at 151, SDSU at 180, Oral Roberts at 184 and IPFW at 196.
