I talked to several people close to the Westhope program and all were lukewarm on Weeks. All seemed surprised he received an fbs offer. Sounds like he may have some growing up to do regarding work ethic, etc. Hopefully he can be successful at Wyo, but I suspect that he will a bit of a project kid.

Some kids DO grow up and knuckle down, but some dont. Maybe many dont?

One thing NDSU(regardless of Coaching staff) seems to get a lot of the newcomers to realize the culture and tradition and knuckle down and go to work. Add Coach Kramer to the mix, and NDSU seems to get the majority to fall into step, and make the program better. Over the years I have seen some H.S. FB players commit to the Bison and I would swear they'd never fit in, yet they did and still do!! NDSU gives the players a chance to grow-up, and so many do.

So much easier to be proud of Bison players, versus the Johnny Manziels of the world!!!

Well in all fairness, we didn't offer him. Not saying we weren't thinking about offering him but it is what it is. Not sure if there's a player at tackle we got that I would trade him for. I'll take both Rudunz and Volson 100 times out of 100. Weeks is a project for sure.

Wilson also received offers from Colorado State, Western Michigan & Ohio.

Sounds like the Wyoming matching funds for athletics is making
it's way through the legislature.
