A bad experience for Wyoming, the under-the-radar recruit
they bring in over the weekend, who has no other offers at
    the time, wow......
In 3 days the Cowboys offer recruit, recruit verbals and on the 3rd day
the recruit decommits and flips to UNLV, wow......

To me, flipping 3 days after isn't quite as bad. If any the kids we got verbals from over the last few days flipped I wouldn't think it's a big deal. If he committed a few months ago I would think it's a dick move. But yes, recruiting to Laramie is quite a challenge.

Can't blame them though with the way the system is set up...
I look at it as a borderline recruit who gets an offer, at the time maybe they feel they may not get a better offer and don't want to let an opportunity slip away from them. So in the last few weeks when puzzle pieces are flying all over the place someone who maybe only showed a bit a interest moves to them as their Plan B/C and gives them what is then perceived to be a better offer. Considering that the culture/coaching staff at both places essentially are the same fit which is probably not realistic that it ever would be that way. Just some of these kids may not realize what may come to them in the final week, and to hang out that long can be a bit nerve wracking too. Just seems like there could be a better system for them so that we didn't have so much of this but probably never really be able to ever solve it.

Looks like Engelhaupt is taking Nebraska up on that late offer (Monday)
and flipping from Wyoming to Lincoln. Brought in as a H Back.

Wyoming signs 23 players, at first glance it seems a little
lacking in linemen. 3 OL and only 1 listed DL. Wyoming
did have 2 DL decommit the last few days before NLI day.

    http://www.gowyo.com/signingday/#bios

One of the OL was Dustin Weeks, here is what they had to say:

    Dustin Weeks
    Position: OL
    Height: 6-8
    Weight: 265
    Hometown: Deering, N.D.
    High School: Glenburn

Dustin Weeks is a three-star ranked recruit by 247 Sports
    .
He was also named the No. 1 ranked recruit in the state of North Dakota by 247 Sports.
He earned First Team All-State honors twice by the North Dakota
Football Coaches Association. He helped lead Westhope/Newburn/Glenburn High to a first place finish in Region 3 of Class A, posting a 7-3 overall record and a 4-1 record in Region 3. Weeks team advanced to the Quarterfinals of the 2015 Class A Playoffs. He was also an outstanding basketball player in high school. Weeks was coached by head coach Layne Fluher. He was also recruited by North Dakota State.
Did not see any recruits from Minnesota, even though Wyoming was trying.
The only other name that was familiar to me was
Gavin Rush OL 6-3 285 Phillips, Neb. (Aurora HS) (only Neb recruit)
IIRC he was a NDSU offer who chose the Cowboys.
Perhaps others will see a name or two the Bison were recruiting.

On the offensive side, they have 11 who are sophomore or younger. On the defensive side it is 7 who are sophomore or younger.

I know Bohl has learned many lessons about recruiting some positions regardless of who is already on the roster, but I am guessing when you start piling up too deep, it makes it a little difficult when you still have other positions and bringing in 20 some new guys every year.

I talked to several people close to the Westhope program and all were lukewarm on Weeks. All seemed surprised he received an fbs offer. Sounds like he may have some growing up to do regarding work ethic, etc. Hopefully he can be successful at Wyo, but I suspect that he will a bit of a project kid.

Decommits being more common than they used to be, 4 are
listed by this article, during the last 2 weeks for Wyoming.

In the past two weeks, four players decommitted from Wyoming, including one Sunday (defensive tackle Shemarr Robinson, flipping to Tulsa), one Monday (defensive tackle Toa Iafeta, flipping to UNLV) and one Tuesday (defensive end David Engelhaupt, flipping to Nebraska).

..... Florida prep linebacker Jailyn Mays (undecided).
Another comment on North Dakotan Dustin Weeks' recruitment:
.....Guys like North Dakota prep offensive lineman Dustin Weeks,
a consensus three-star recruit who brushed aside serious interest from Wisconsin.
